And the Walls Came Tumbling Down: Ralph David Abernathy, An Auutobiography

Abernathy was at Martin Luther King's side during all his civil rights battles and became his successor after MLK's assasination.  Together they founded the Southern Christian Leadership Conference which grew out of the Montgomery, AL bus boycott which in turn was a result of Rosa Parks's 1956 refusal to give up her seat on a bus.  This autobiography also tells of Abernathy's private life and the leaders he knew intimately.
