Fifty Years Ago Revolt Amid the Darkness

This volume is a planning guide for Commemorative Programs to be done during the Days of Remembrance as determined by the United States Holocaust Memorial Council. In it, there are numerous first hand accounts of the atrocities of the Holocaust, from ghettos to concentration camps to killing camps, and the volume especially commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. It also details the diplomacy and protest of the era, and holds several poems of Holocaust survivors. At the end, there are planning aids for organizations wishing to commemorate the Days of Remembrance.
