Sit Yo' Mama Down: The Story of an African-Centered Public Charter Schol

 The book describes the history and principles of this school in West Pam Beach.  It has testimonials from teachers, students and parents all showing how well Black children are doing, often after academic and behavioral problems in traditional schools.  The children are treated with love and respect and they gain confidence in themselves. They are taught African history as well as conventional subjects.
