Description

Actor Donald Sutherland narrates this documentary about a group of strong women in Chile who got together to protest the violence and injustice inflicted on their families and loved ones by dictator General Augusto Pinochet. Armed only with scraps of cloth and the ability to sew, these women created handmade tapestries describing the horror, and smuggled it out of the country with the proceeds returning to Chile to help the families of the victims.
