Description
In this zine, author Enola D! writes on their travels of hitch-hiking westward with a friend, Montell(i). They share anecdotes first about the status of travel zines as a whole before recounting the different truckers they hitched with on their way West. Several are genuine kind souls who show concern over Enola and Montell and give them both money for their trip, while others mistake them for sex workers, to which Enola waxes political on the topic of sex work and feminine exploitation and objectification. The zine shares how much of a person is revealed when on the road, and how travelling as a trucker does and as a hitch-hiker does can introduce you to more people than could have been met in a lifetime.
