Description

This short zine rebuts the Second Amendment as a protection and right for all. Instead, it contextualizes the Second Amendment with the racial inequity and violence that categorizes the so-called United States in its modern era and throughout its history. The zine calls out cultural assimilation through genocide and slavery fueled by gun violence and marks the Second Amendment as a tool to enact more violence against Indigenous and Black people. The backside of the zine states that much of it was inspired by Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz's latest book Loaded: A Disarming History of the Second Amendment.
