This is a verbatim transcript of the hearings in Mexico held by the Preliminary Commission of Inquiry into the Charges Made against Leon Trotsky in the Moscow Trials.  The commissioners were Americans led by John Dewey who were searching for the truth.  Trotsky and his secretary were the only witnesses. They answered questions put to them by the ommissioners
