Description

This book argues that the Iraq war was not a war fought for regime change in Iraq, but one fought to maintain American political hegemony in Iraq.  The book aims to correct misinformation spread by the United States about its military involvement in Iraq.  For example, it argues that there was a deliberate effort to prevent the United Nations from investigating supposed Iraqi weapon manufacturing so that the United States would retain justification for its invasion.
