Description
First published in 1968, Aussie, Wilfred Burchett accurately and prophetically wrote that Vietnam would win its war with the United States.
He was one of the first 'experts' on Indo-China and first met with Ho Chi Minh in March of 1954 concerning Vietnam's war with the French. He lived in the region for years and turned out to be deadly accurate in his assessment of Vietnam's ability to fight the United States within its own boundary. He first started writing about Indo-China for the London Times and later for more radical publications.
Chapter 14, 'The Long Hard Fight', is dead right on how the Vietnamese won the war.
