Description

"An Appeal to the Young first appeared in 1880 in Le Revolvte, the anarchist periodical started by Kropotkin...This edition is derived from an edition printed by Resistance Press in 1948"

In this Socratorial monologue, Kropotkin makes an emotional appeal to young people to consider the economic and political forces that they will encounter in the course of their lives and professions.  The choice between indifference and involvement is that of the individual, he asserts, and a conscientious person must become aware of the state of the common man, and work to abolish the detrimental economic and political systems that assault him.
