"Strong Hearts was a zine by Rod Coronado. In 1995, eco-anarchist and activist Rod Coronado was arrested and sent to jail for crimes he committed on behalf of the Animal Liberation Front. Strong Hearts was written and published during the time Coronado served his prison sentence. The publication was created utilizing a cut and paste collage style and was typewritten on 8 1/2 X 11" paper, folded in half. Topics covered in the zine included Coronado's experiences with the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, of which he was a crew member; the EZLN (Ejercito Zapatista de Liberacion Nacional/Zapatista Army of National Liberation); animal rights; ecological concerns and indigenous issues. Four issues of Strong Hearts were released. Rod Coronado has been freed from prison since the zine was created." -- taken from ZineWiki
